WCAI Bee
Although he likes his name, WCAI is sometimes frustrated because it means he's always assigned lastn when the bees line up alphabetically for games. A liberal, he also gets angry when the other bees call him "W" behind his back.

Zippy Chicken Shorts, contrary to his name, is a very dignified bee. He never pushes the other bees away at the sugar water dispenser or raises his voice above a gentle buzz.
Violet Zoe likes to work hard. The other bees will pause nowand then, rest on a flower (or the head of a human co-worker) and catch their breaths. Not Violet Zoe. She keeps going all the time. A real worker bee.
Zwijin is perhaps the most regular bee in the greenhouse. The bee leaves the hive precisely at first light each day and returns exactly at dusk. Zwijin works steadily throughout the day, never stopping to rest as some of the other bees do.
These bees are always arguing about which flowers to pollinate in what order. Zach and Chad want to go to the flowers closest to the hive first thing in the morning, but Evan, Victoria and Cassidy argue that the other bees crowd those flowers at first and it's best to start with with the more distant plants. It's a never-ending argument.
Zoe has been here a month, but she speaks only Dutch - her native tongue. He co-workers say she understands English well enough, but always replies by buzzing in Dutch.
Zak is always one of the first out of the hive in the morning and one of the last to return. He sets a good example for all the bees.
Zeb O. is a favorite of visitors, or perhaps it is more accurate to say, he favors visitors. Whenever new people or visitors come into the greenhouse, Zeb O. will drop what he is doing and fly over to greet them, his human co-workers say. Nobody schmoozes like Zeb O.
All bumblebees dislike the color blue for some reason, that is, all bumblebees except Zina. Zina, for reasons no one knows, loves to hang around with any of her co-workers who are wearing blue. She still does her work with the tomato plants, but Zina prefers to be “true blue.”
Zip is a good name for this small little bee. His human co-workers say he is a very high energy bee who flits from plant to plant at a fast clip, sometimes nudging aside the other bees to get to the pollen.
