The bees are getting used to the shorter sunlight hours. This gives them more time to pursue their off-hour sports and cultural activities. Although some of them opt for just sleeping more.
Bop was extremely shy when he first came to the farm in August, but since then he has made many friends and is active in sports. His favorite is water polo, which the bees play in the greenhouse drains.
Originally posted to a hive in the new greenhouse, Dazz was moved to the older greenhouse when a rash of bee swine flu created a beepower shortage at the end of August. He has proven impervious to the flu and is a very hard worker.
Brooke and Reagan have known each other since they were larvae. Alexa met them when she came with another hive from Detroit. Now all three are really good friends and hang out together every day.
