Barack Obama Bee - Election Update

The election is over and Barack Obama in now President - Elect. What an amazing election! Best wishes to our future President and his family.

The final bee adoptions for Senator Obama and Senator McCain resulted in a 2 to 1 margin for Senator (soon to be President) Obama. We also had a few adoptions named after Gov. Sarah Palin and Sen. Joe Biden.

Because of the number of bee adoptions, we couldn't keep up with the political bee names.

Thank you to everyone who Adopted Bees named after their favorite candidate. All of you have helped to create jobs for people with disabilities here on Cape Cod.

The other bees are very found of this particular Barack Obama Bee. They find him considerate and eloquent.

This BOBS has a very dry sense of humor. He likes to tease the other bees. When one of them called him Bob recently he smiled and said, don't stand on ceremony, call me Robert.

This BOBs, like his namesake, is extraordinarily articulate, the other bees say. No one else can buzz so eloquently.

John McCain Bee

This JB is a high flier. Like his namesake, he is an aggressive flier who fearlessly attacks his objective. One tough bee.

Three Bees named Barack Obama

These three not only know how to work, but how to work a hive. They are extremely polite and articulate, getting along with bees of all stripes, including the John McCain Bees, who are their off duty pals.

These two BOBs came over together in the hive from Holland. They say they find American politics fascinating. They really enjoyed watching the balloon falls at the two party conventions. They say they're excited to play a part in the election.

Joe Biden Bee

Joe's an extremely hard worker with a great sense of humor. He's a popular bee.

Sarah Palin Bee

Sarah says she comes from the north. She likes the crisp fall weather.

Another BOBs has joined the greenhouse. Amazingly, although we have a growing number of BOBS and JBs (John McCain Bees), the bees seem to have now trouble telling the political bees apart.
